City defeated United and reached the FA Cup final

YayĆ” Toure scored the only goal in Manchester City's 1-0 win over classic rival Manchester United. The "citizens" reached the FA Cup final and will have the chance to win a title for the first time in 35 years.

Manchester United used their most important players except for Rooney, sidelined due to yellow cards accumulation. Carlos Tevez - City's best striker - was not fit for the game either, which makes this win even more important for Mancini's team.

The blue team could not dominate the game in the first part. But once they gain confidence, City started creating really dangerous situations with Silva and Toure. Ferguson had troubles in his front line, but used "Chicharito" Hernandez only in the last ten minutes. Clearly a late move.

Ferguson blamed the lost to a "slack defense and not scoring in key moments of the game".

Manchester derby in the FA Cup semifinals

Manchester United has yet another important game to face, this time in the FA Cup semis and against their classic rival in their city: Manchester City. Ferguson announced they're using their best footballers for the match.

Alex Ferguson's team proved to be the best in England this year, and they are clear favorites to win this game and reach the final. For Manchester City, this is the last chance they have to prove they can win a title, at least for this season.

We must notice that the stars in both teams will not take part of the game. Wayne Rooney will miss this match due to a yellow card. Carlos Tevez is sidelined with a muscular injury.

Manchester United is now 10 points ahead of the second place in the English Premier League, after their important win over Fulham 2-0. The title is closer than ever for Ferguson's team.

Dimitar Berbatov and Antonio Valencia scored great goals to secure United victory at the Old Trafford Stadium. We must also mention Portuguese star Nani, who was the most important player in this match.

The road to the title seems to be clear for Manchester United. And this result also helps for the confidence ahead of the Champions League quarterfinals against Chelsea.
